I have been playing and performing guitar since I was 10 ..many moons ago! I've been teaching guitar since 2001 ..successfully seeing beginners learn to play some of their favorite songs, while learning many techniques ..as well as expanding the horizons of intermediate to advanced players.
I will teach you to finger pick, flat pick, play scales and solos; strum in many different patterns; rhythm and beats; learn basic theory (how music works) if you desire.. play chords & melodies; train your main musical asset - your ears.. and take you on your own musical journey with the coolest instrument ever made!
Even after playing all these years, I'm still learning myself, and I love to pass on what I know to others. Along with knowing my stuff.. I'm really really patient, so you can relax and learn at your pace. Lessons are fun and with dedicated practice, you will make progress!

Beginning & Intermediate instruction
$70/hr $45/half hr
(Lessons are paid monthly in advance)
Acoustic or Electric guitar,
whichever you prefer.
So, if you are a first timer, I will patiently guide you to your goals.
If you have been playing for some time but need to improve your chops, overcome bad habits..
